Virginia Meyer is a respected salon industry veteran and a passionate advocate of beauty industry education. Beginning her career in the salon, Virginia has experienced all aspects of running and managing successful beauty-based businesses, including sales, distribution, and salon development and education—the latter of which led to her role with the Aveda network, where she remained for 17 years. For seven of those years, Virginia acted as Vice President of Aveda Global Education, leading the vision and strategy for Aveda technical, creative and business education. Today, along with colorist, David Adams, she is Co-owner/founder of Fourteenjay Salon in Tribeca, New York, where she has the opportunity to lead and coach the development of both technical and non-technical team members.
Virginia is one of the Co-creators and faculty members of the Aveda Business Academy and works with Aveda salons throughout the network on improving their performance through focusing on behaviors that drive results.
Virginia’s purpose statement is: “I am Virginia. I am a consultant/coach for my team members and industry salon owners and leaders. I help them to see the unseen and connect the dots to realize their personal and business Hopes and Dreams.”
